Assertive communication deals with esteem and confidence. Assertiveness
involves the ability to express emotions, opinions and sustain arguments in front
of other people. Assertive communication was sometimes confused with
aggressiveness, even with insolence. This happens because sometimes can
sound harsh to say the truth in front or even express negative feelings or
opinions or simply to say what you think, and the next you can take it as an
offense. In this workshop we will learn that assertiveness involves defending the
rights by expressing personal opinions and feelings clearly, directly, and
honestly without violating the rights of another person.
